Dignified Treatment: New Challenges to Guarantee Due Process in Deportations from the Dominican Republic
This book sketches an overview of deportations from the perspective of three years of field experience carried out by CEDESO in the southern border region, in the context of recently adopted more restrictive migration policies. Through this publication, OBMICA seeks to raise awareness and encourage migrants, their companions, government actors, project-implementing institutions, and society at large to join efforts to promote respect for due process so that every migrant benefits from the protection guaranteed by law in cases of arrest or deportation.
