Policy Brief: Study on Migration, Vulnerability, and Disaster Risk Reduction
This research explores the ways in which gender, life cycle, and ethnicity influence the vulnerability of Venezuelan and Haitian populations in natural and health emergencies. Through its Policy Briefs, the Caribbean Migration and Social Development Observatory (OBMICA) contributes to decision-making and the design of evidence-based public policies. Associated researchers collect field information, analyze the impact of social and natural phenomena on migrant populations, and formulate recommendations while sharing findings with key actors.
