Training Manual on the Rights of Migrants under Migration Control

Edited by Marianella Belliard, this manual is designed as a training tool on a set of minimum regional standards underlying the general principles of the Regional Guidelines for the Protection of the Human Rights of Migrants and Refugees in Situations of Migration Status Verification, Detention, Deportation, and Reception. Prepared in the Dominican national context, it is aimed at community leaders, government officials, consular personnel, civil society organizations, and others in contact with migrant populations.

This educational manual is intended for promoters, community leaders, government officials, consular personnel, members of civil society organizations, and other actors in contact with migrant populations, to be used in workshops as a guide for activities aimed at disseminating and explaining the Regional Guidelines in the national context of the Dominican Republic.
