We Present the Blog of the Trato Digno Project

The Trato Digno (TD) project, 2020-2023, in the Dominican Republic seeks to promote respect for the rights of migrants. It does so through the promotion, protection, and monitoring of compliance with the human rights of migrants and their relatives, by strengthening the capacity for action of these groups and that of their allies, and by influencing public opinion in order to make the reality of violations visible and prevent them.
The TD project blog intervenes precisely in the field of public-opinion advocacy. It serves as a multimedia tool to disseminate information on respect for the human rights of migrants and their families through blog entries, multimedia such as podcasts and videos, and documentation such as press links, press notes, and publications. It is also a participatory instrument: we invite everyone to write for the blog. Proposed blog posts can address issues related to the detention and deportation of migrants by land. They may come from the following sources, which are not exhaustive: conferences, seminars, webinars, courses, books, articles, documents, research, case presentations, complaints, news, stories, data, commemorations, audios, videos, podcasts, illustrations, and cartoons.
In addition, it may be interesting to connect your blog proposal to international awareness days or annual international events, such as International Migrants Day, although this is not obligatory.
