Invitation to the Inequality and Power Forum at FLACSO, Friday 8/4/16

April 8, 2016. OBMICA, together with FLACSO and Centro Bono, cordially invited the public to the 6th Forum on Inequality and Power, focused on migration issues affecting the country. Authors of OBMICA's yearbook State of the Art of Migration Affecting the Dominican Republic presented their work on migration dynamics in the insular Caribbean, the Dominican diaspora, immigration, public policy, and the human rights situation of migrants and their descendants.

OBMICA, together with FLACSO and Centro Bono, invites the public to the sixth Forum on Inequality and Power, focused on migration affecting the Dominican Republic. Authors of OBMICA's annual migration yearbook present findings on Caribbean migration dynamics, the Dominican diaspora, immigration, public policy, and migrant rights.

The forum serves as a space for reflection and discussion on migration governance and social inequality.
