Five Years of Continuous Monitoring of Migration in the Dominican Republic
September 30, 2016. Every year since 2011, OBMICA staff and its team of associate researchers have monitored migration dynamics both in the insular Caribbean and at the binational level between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. This effort culminates in the production of OBMICA's flagship publication, State of Migration Affecting the Dominican Republic. In November, OBMICA announced the release of its fifth annual edition, corresponding to 2015 figures.
Since 2011, OBMICA and its associated researchers have continuously monitored migration dynamics affecting the Dominican Republic and the insular Caribbean. This article marks five years of that effort and highlights the annual yearbook State of Migration Affecting the Dominican Republic as a central reference publication.
